Electric F series trucks will have an all electric option in 2020. They will make more torque than a 6.7 ever dreamed of.

Link to any write up on this for the F250+? I've only seen rumors of F150 and SUV's.

In the time frame you listed, all electric? Not happening. Electric anything in the super duties? Not happening. Hybrid in the half tons? There we go.

I doubt FoMoCo would allow a start-up like Atlis to stomp Super Duty capabilities with an all-electric truck ... but that is exactly what's on the horizon.

We will see on the Atlis. They still need funding to make a working prototype. I invested in the OPO, hopefully I won't get to burned.

I keep getting hybrid AND all electric F150 articles in my news feed the past couple days. Here's one right off the top

Ford is developing hybrid and all-electric F-150 pickup trucks it says won’t skimp on power

They would have to build a trailer to haul enough batteries to get any kind of distance for a SuperDuty!

I fully understand your sentiment. I'm not a fan of it either. But you nor I can stop the onslaught of electric trucks. Worse yet is they will most likely stomp all the fossil-fueled trucks in all aspects except refueling/recharging distance. Even then, additional battery capacity could be added just like many of us add auxiliary fuel tanks.

There where electric trucks in the 1900. For local stop and go deliveries it makes since, Long haul, it doesn't. there is too much energy needed to move that much freight to have it all in a light weight battery pack.
