Hazard warning lights - only one working
I have a 1997 F150 XLT Supercab 4.6L automatic flareside. The other night I stopped to help a stranded motorist. I turned on my hazard warning lights. When I got out to help I noticed that only the right front amber bulb was flashing. I turned off the hazards and tried my front & rear right & left turn lights which worked. Since the right front amber light worked on the hazards the fuse should be good. What else could be wrong?

What projectSHO89 is telling you is correct. The output of the MFS goes to the turn signals and the hazards since they're the same lamps that are used for both functions. That being said the fault has to lie within the switch because if the wiring harness was the issue then the turn signals would not work.

Turn Signal & Hazard Switch

If you want to be sure you get the correct one, remove the steering column shroud and look for a number on the switch.

Here's an update about the problem I had with my hazard warning lights. I bought a new multi-function switch from Amazon and installed it Friday. Apparently the old one was the cause for my problem. All of my hazard warning lights work plus my windshield wiper fluid comes out as soon as I push the button. With my old unit it sometimes took several pushes to get it started. Now to see how long the new switch works.
