Need new headlights...

the guy I bought the truck from installed some crappy Chinese projector halo headlights. I need to replace them. Are there some good alternatives to stock? I would like to run LED or HID bulbs. So something aftermarket and not to flashy would be nice. I don’t trust any of the options I’m seeing on amazon. I know a lot of people recommend the harness MOD and just going with stock Assemblies and nice bulbs but I’m just looking for options.

Searching Google it looks like one of the companies that made the harness up. No longer do them. Does anybody have an updated company that sells the harnesses? Another easy to make and all that but I’m looking for options?

thanks guys
Incase I go the OEM route. Does anybody know the part numbers for the entire assemblies left and right.

HID should only ran in approved projectors so you don’t blind oncoming traffic. They also tend to cause all kinds of running issues on these trucks. I’d go with a clear spyder headlights and LED bulbs

I would only run halogen bulbs if I went to stock route. I’m looking for options for H ID or LED. Never heard of spider I guess I’ll try to Google search since there’s no link.

So I found the site. Those look nice. Just what I was looking for if they have good reviews and they’re not cheap. They’re also project properly with LED lights? Anybody else running these they would like to chime in?

Can’t tell but do I need to buy a stock headlight assembly holder? It looks like these are just parts that screw into maybe another holder. I can’t tell if it comes with everything you needed. Maybe I can find an assembly at the junkyard or something to hold the lights. Also I see that they come with bulbs. The reviews on those specifically are mediocre at best. Obviously I could put some LEDs in them. Just hoping to confirm that they won’t blind oncoming traffic. If that’s the case Then I think I’ll pick these up.

Led actually do very well in a stock housing.

One problem to note with LED is if you live where it’s cold/snow/ice led doesn’t get hot enough to melt the snow/ice off the light.

$32 for the harness at bronco graveyard? That almost seems too cheap it’s not like the Putco one from amazon is it?

I’m really looking to get something like the spider headlamps I think. I don’t have any of my stock headlight assembly stuff so to go back to stock I think will be a couple hundred dollars anyways.

Still hoping to get an answer on the headlight assemblies. Do I need headlight assemblies or do I just buy the lights themselves

They tend to cause the truck to stall when turn on or off. It’s mainly on tuned/chipped trucks and even more common with DP tuner.

I absolutely hate people with HIDs in halogen housings. Light output is garbage to boot. Just a blurry blue. Sort of like a long night out at a tittybar.

My setup uses new Phillips halogens, Bronco GY harness, new stock housings. Light output is great. I came from some junk 'clear' aftermarket stuff on the truck, not even OE units.

Is it like my '19 vehicle with HID? Of course not. But very nice output for the chump money involved.
