2019 F250 Power Stroke Extended Warranty
#2
A genuine Ford ESP is highly valuable. The powerstroke is covered by it's own 5/100k warranty but you can go to a full Premium ESP for up to 8/150k. No need to purchase at a local dealer ( Unless you are in Florida) . I got mine from Lombard Ford online, they had the best price and no interest 12 month payments.

I found the best price online, local dealer matched it.

Yep. Thermostats replaced on my Chevy 2500 few years back. $34.00 for the parts and $1,700 in labor. There is not enough room for dust to fall from the top of the engine to the bottom on the F250. I have gone with Ziegler in the past for the online warranty. 7 years 150K is $3,900. 6/125 is $2,200. That is a chunk of change lining the pockets of someone. Kind of tells you when Ford expects things to go wrong... Between 6 and 7 years and 125 to 150K .

Bought my 8-year Ford Premium Plan ESP from Flood Ford online. I expect to trade/sell my '17 after 4 or 5 years of ownership, and the Premium Plan is basically a bumper-to-bumper warranty which will add value at the time of trade/sell. I also opted for the LED coverage, 1st-day rental, and free fob replacement when I ordered. If I sell after 4 years, there will still be 4 years of practically full coverage warranty remaining if the buyer wants to pay a $75 transfer fee. If not, and if I never make a claim, I will get back a prorated amount of my ESP purchase price.
