I was trying to start my truck in 25 degree weather the other morning and I forgot to plug it in
I turned it over 10 times after waiting for glow plug light to out, wouldn't start. Got out and noticed oil dripping out pretty good on drivers side in the front of the engine. Shirt Well tried starting it yesterday after checking fluids and started right up with no oil leaking at all. What the heck?? It was plugged on this time. My wife needs it tomorrow to go horseback riding towing the horsetrailer. Please help cant find where it was leaking from. Hpop wasn't leaking valley doesnt have oil. It has 275,000 miles.

By judging the location of the oil leak you posted, seems like its the oil cooler O rings going bad.

 

Where are the oil cooler o rings. Can it be driven until fixed if I keep eyes on oil level.

 

Look just above d/s tire at motor. Youll see a cylinder looking barrel attached to motor at eachvend. Them caps are where the orings are..can drive but keep eye on it and check resivoir for oil to water contamination
