2007 f-150 Leaking Coolant from metal elbow

My 2007 f-150 (5.4) is leaking coolant out of a metal elbow and I am having trouble trying to identify a part name or number. I am wondering if any experts out there can help me identify what this part is? This elbow is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment right behind the larger radiator hose. I have attached a picture of the elbow.

im looking for the name or part number for the metal elbow in the picture

Is it the metal elbow that is leaking or is there a pinhole leak under the hose?

I can confirm that it is leaking from the metal elbow. There is a fairly large hole in the bottom of the metal elbow

Im not sure on the 5.4 .. there is a similar tube on the 4.6 called a "COOLANT BYPASS TUBE".... looking at your photo, im not sure how your remove the tube ? Is it cast into the manifold ? No bolts ? If you had a tube, how you going to install ? I think I might try getting a fitting with pipe threads on one end and hose barb on the other .... the drilling out the tube and threading the manifold for anew fitting... If it was a STRAIGHT fitting, you could then use a HOSE ELBOW.

here is the 4.6 motor BYPASS TUBE

you or your mechanic might be able to convert something like this to fit. You can buy these fittings at the local hardware store , maybe the Auto Parts store.

the tube appears to be cast INTO the crossover. I doubt you can pull the tube out and push into the old crossover.. what would hold it in place ? The crossover bolts to the BOTTOM of the intake. You can not remove it without removing the manifold.

That is why I said you might try drilling it out and threading a pipe thread / barb fitting into the hole..... worst case is you still need to remove the manifold and install a NEW crossover.... I have some photos of the manifold and crossover removed.. will post

Not sure how long it would last, but maybe clean it well, wire brush, epoxy or JBWeld…. and wrap with thin aluminum & band clamp.

I would drill it out and thread in a barb fitting if I wanted a short cut without removing the manifold.

Well I am going to try this route because the part from the dealer is $250!!! (you have to buy the crossover and the rest of the assembly) I laughed at the guy on the phone. I will let you know how it works out thanks for the suggestion.
