Probably all in your head
i know the door panel has the psi to be used, and people swear by it, but I run my E rated tires at 65 psi all the way around all the time. When I tow the camper, I’ll run them up to 70. Lower pressures feel way too squishy and bouncy and the tighter they are, they seem to ride a little rougher. I run all my passenger car tires at the psi stated on the tire. My view is the tire manufacturer has tested the particular tire at the stated psi and they know what they’re talking about for their particular tire. My 65 psi number is not based on scientific research, but it works for me and I tend to get pretty good mileage out of my tires. The last set of Michelin LTX’s I had ran 100K before replacement.

Watch the tire after the rail crossing...
The tire, suspension, and vehicle go into an oscillation.
Change the tire firmness change the frequency or reduce the magnitude of bounce the tire contributes to the system.
Yup i noticed my stock size tires were smoother over road obstacles with 65psi up from 50/55.
