My wife's f150 4x4 truck wouldn't leave after a stoplight. clutch pedal feals the same and works to start, put it in 4wd shifted through all gears and it doesn't move.

Welcome to FTE.

Good to know about your truck. Is it still at the stoplight?

Seriously, there are several things that could have happened, but unless you can do some additional detective work, it would just be a list of parts that could fail.

Where is the truck now? Are you a experienced wrench spinner?

I got the truck home, and have started pulling trans, I believe that the throw out bearing is the problem.

Normally I would think a throw out bearing failure would lock you IN GEAR..... But your on the right track to pull the trans out... good time to check the transfer case.
