Alternator swap - not 3g?

I was going to start gathering parts for a 3g swap and crawled under Camano (86 F250 460) this evening to see what I had currently.
Doesnt look like any of the 1,2,or 3g photos I've seen. I know the real answer is to find the sticker and see but anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Edit: removed photo since unneeded and large.

That alternator is known as the "fire plug" alternator due to the fact that the large plug from the battery likes to corrode inside the alternator and then overheat and catch on fire. The good news is a 3g alternator is very easy to install on your truck i think one of the plugs is even the same all you have to do is change the battery power harness and fusible link to the heavier duty one for the 3g. You can even go to the boneyard and get the 3g harness off an early 2000's f150 or expedition, it will only require you to make one splice everything else connects right up and will include a replaceable megafuse

@Franklin2
Good grief, you are right! For some reason I was thinking those all had bolt terminals sticking out of the back vs the two plugs on the sides.
Should have known to go to Gary's site - it has perfect pictures and even shows 86 as being the year these came out.

That's what I get for trying to google photos on my phone while under the truck

Not having the stud is what messed those alternators up. Those two slip on connectors for the output get loose, get hot, and melt causing fires. That is why the 2G gets a bad rap.
