3.5 eb to a HO 3.5eb, how does Ford do it???

I have acquired the power train out of a 2018 F150 with ~5K miles on it. I'm putting it into a highly modified jeep and would like to have the 450hp of the HO model. I know you can get these level of power from aftermarket changes but I would like to know how Ford chooses to do it. I figure Ford would do it with an accent on reliability.

Does anyone on here know what changes Ford does to get the extra 75hp? Of course, program but any hardware i.e. larger injectors, fuel pump, larger turbos.....

I had a Gen 1 in my 1966 F250 and it made 420/532 @ tire with just a tune. The Raptor's usually make around 360 RWHP
With the Gen 2 you can make 450 RWHP without breaking a sweat.. It will put down well over what the raptor does with just a tune.

Sounds like a fun swap! and further details or pics?

I am doing my 4th Eco Swap now.

I sure hope you got the PCM, BCM and column for the swap. Or are you planning on running the Ford Performance Pack with a manual trans?

There are now 2.7's making 500 RWHP so making 450 flywheel out of yours is a cake walk. Yes they do have different turbo's.

Turbo Swap & Tune will easily bring you to 500 RWHP which would be 600 FLywheel (how the Raptor is rated)

^^^^^^ So all Ford does for the HO is a different tune then?

I have the engine with all belt driven accessories, PCM, trans and transfer case. The rest of the truck burned. From the carfax it was a victim of the seat belt sparking issue. I do automation for a living so I'm not to worried about making it all work with what is available on the market now. If I cannot make something work with the truck PCM I'll use a stand alone controller for the motor and a stand alone for the trans. USshift.com has a controller now for the 6R80 and is working on the 10R80. I was going with a crate motor but found this deal for way less, even if I have to spend $3K more in harness/computers I'm coming out better.

Since you have done a few swaps with the 3.5, how did you solve the power steering issue?
