Sounds like your dealer in particular is a simpleton. Then to go days upon days without diagnosis? Id have gone ballistic.
Dont feel alone. Ive been dealing with a 2018 F150 5.0L burning oil. The oil consumption test previous to this last one showed over 2 quarts by 3,500 to 4,000 miles. Then the TSB came out. Just failed the last consumption test. Over a quart in 3,000 miles. TSB says long block replacement. As of last night, waiting on verdict from Ford... new engine or not. Will they want another consumption test? After 27,000 miles of this crap, Im worn out. I want the truck gone.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. Seem like the Big 3 like to have customers do their testing sometimes its a shame they can't shake these things out during the prototype phases...
