I sold two old XLTs and ordered a Platinum. It's lacking a lot of features I would have like to have had... but either weren't available or in at least one case I made a mistake when ordering the truck. While I like all the fancy features in the new truck, I miss my '99 F250 XLT.
I bought a 2019 Lariat because I couldn't get any higher option packages due to it being a Super Cab. Lariat is the highest level offer in that cab configuration.
Glad I'm not a fan of leather seats. Saved me $6,000 by getting an XLT instead of a Lariat.
Same. I had my selection narrowed down to 2 trucks; one XLT and one Lariat. I sat in both, drove both, then asked myself- what is in the Lariat that I actually want. The answer was nothing that I wanted...the XLT had everything I wanted and a few extras and the lariat had a few "nice to have's," but let the lariat go because I just have never liked leather.
Just curious to what the ratios are? I did this poll awhile back.
Although it is not a TRIM LEVEL, but a package, it may be worthwhile to add a line for XL/STX as that really is treated as a trim level by buyers...it sits between an XL and an XLT...just a suggestion...my vote for XL should be an XL/STX
How does the Platinum trim exceed XL ratio? Something is wrong here.
If fleet/work truck users were on this forum and voting, XL would win.

Agree and haven't voted as I'd like to see STX represented.
