I am used to having the keyless entry and ask does anyone know if the vehicle does not come equipped, can one be added? I have had the drivers door apart and I see a plug on the wiring harness that has nothing plugged into it and wonder if that is for the keyless entry pad to plug into. Or let me phrase it this way. Do vehicles that don't have the keyless entry installed already have everything needed for one to work if one is installed?

Yes, I did that to my 2001 F150 .... If you have a key FOB, then your truck has a RECEIVER for the signal.. Buy a key pad with double stick tape and stick to the door.. then program it like a FOB.. no wires...... They sold them on e-bay.
