1991 f350 460 Efi Rebuild

I got a 1991 f350 lariat with a 460 EFI and EO4D transmission I have the cats cut off. Im rebuilding the motor myself. I use this truck mainly just for fun so i want a bit more power (300-400hp). I only pull trailers once and a while. I live in North Dakota so i don't have to worry about emmissions I'm wondering whats a good heavy duty rebuild kit for this motor, what cam should i use with the computer, should I get different heads or should I port them, do i need a new intake, what vales and rockers should I use or should I keep stock, what headers should I use, what throttle body should i get, what cold air intake is the best, should i get bigger injectors, would a msd coil and distributer igntion kit help, what else would help? Also I've heard of people with a different SEFI system and computer so they can run a beeifer engine. Tell me everything I need to know thanks.

For 400 hp you'll need to start by figuring out a tunable setup, most people do a mass air conversion so start researching there. Expect to buy larger injectors and stronger fuel pumps. Easier route would be a carb, and you could get some aftermarket aluminum heads.

For the power, all you need to do is port the stock heads, bump compression, select a good torque cam, long tubes, and enjoy.

I'd absolutely recommend a stroker package too, the 460 can be made into a cubic inch monster for relatively cheap.
