1994 F350 Radio

My radio will play, but the volume control and any other tuning buttons will not work. It will turn on and off and show correct time. Any suggestions on what might be wrong????

This happened after I had the interior detailed.

Pull the radio from the dash, and disconnect and reconnect it from the wiring harness.

If that doesn't work, I would get another radio. I've gotten a few from Ebay for practically nothing. Jensen made the radios for Ford, and they are not the best quality.

Did you detail it or someone else? Similar thing happened to mine with a damp rag (after the wife cleaned the inside of truck). Fried all the buttons...I'd change the radio out myself. Ford's strong suit is not radios, that's for sure.

Walmart has the Ford radio replacement tool and the Ford adapter terminal block, both for about $10.00. Tried U-shaped coathangers, but the tool works best. Popped in a fifteen year old Panasonic Alpha tuner and can pick up dozens of stations I couldn't before. An Audiovox would probably beat the stock radio.
