4r100 problems
Hey guys hope you can help. I have a 99 expedition with 5.4 and 4r100 trans, recently the torque converter clutch died so after I replaced that I installed a Transgo shift improver kit. Now it seems to shift normal and lockup right until it gets warm. Then it is slow into 3rd gear, iffy on the lockup and sometimes no reverse. Also the O/D light comes on and stays on when you hit about 40 mph. I haven't had the scanner on it yet. I'm hoping one of you will have some insight. I'm getting tired of laying underneath this thing!!! We won't even go into the broken connecting rod this Spring!
