Good morning Ford fans!

Sean, Good luck getting your truck started. I don't like using starting fluid, but I know years ago it was a common thing!

I very much dislike the stuff. But that engine does not want to roll over fast enough to get it to light off.
One thing I have not been doing is spray in with hot glow plugs of if I spray when they are still warm I don't
dump half a can in. I just don't want the bang. With the block heater on the system is quite warm and the wait
to start light is staying off. How ever the glow plugs can be on with the light off. It's only a wait to start.
SO unless you wait for the controller to time out the glow plugs can still be powered.

If anyone's looking for a cheap F-450 KR.... I'm kinda thinking out checking it out and selling mine then using the left over money to buy a little car so I can stop putting miles on a nice truck.

Sweet! That’s always an amazing feeling after a long struggle

Beautiful garage. How do you like your WSM? I had one for a few years before I got tired of constantly having to manage the heat. But it always made good BBQ for me.

Zach, That a good looking King Ranch! The price seems kind of low, I haven't been looking so I don't really know.

Sean, Congrats on getting your truck running! On the Bronco frame, yes I am doing all the fabricating and welding. I did not do any of the body work or welding. I also did not build the engine.

Onug, What is your first name? I like my WSM but I also have the Flame Boss 300 controller. So the combination makes it a sweet smoker.

Yeah Tim, it's pretty low price, I think currently it's one of the cheapest running 6.7's around. The passenger side door has a large dent and they hit something with the passenger side rear fender so that's caved in and it has 224k miles. Are the dually fenders on these trucks part of the bed or are they replaceable?

We also finally got snow! I live on Camano Island so we don't get snow that often but the whole yard is white so the dogs will have fun when the sun comes up.

Looks like about 5+ inches dropped last night. Wife is sick and the kids are out of school, so I’m working from home today.

Got a quick drive in this morning. Glad to report my doors all work (didn’t freeze closed or open).

Nice, kind of nasty over here this morning. 12 degrees right now, not a lot of snow but the wind is blowing.

Well the snow wussies have taken over.
I still get a kick out of that image.

We really did not get that much now.
Here are two of my front cameras.
.

Guess I won't be working on the project today as I would need to put up a second tarp and shovel the snow off the ground around the
truck so I could put the inside of the cab back together. I have enough inside work to keep me busy while I wait for DHL anyway.

Checked the snow level just now. Looks like 3.5".

@Yahiko I've taken one of my Cars to Maaco and Gerber here in Kent off Central before. They both do decent work. The 08+ tailgate was paint matched at Gerber a few years back. Before that Maaco fixed a core support on one of my 89 Civic Si's.

Doesn't look like this will clear up until Tuesday/Wednesday.

@Tim Bronco is looking good. Do you follow Maxlider Motors at all? They build some nice and pretty Bronco's.

Gotta come to a meet-n-greet to learn my first name. . I generally keep it off the internet. How do you like your Flame Boss? I’ve got a buddy with an air controller too (not sure what brand) and he says it blows ash up out of the ring onto the meat. I got big smoke flavor off my WSM, but I’ll never go back from a pellet smoker now. Just too easy to control temps.

Tomorrow is going to be an ice nightmare. But I’m going to work...I can’t work at home when the kids are here...too much chaos. Just went out and scraped everything off the truck so my work is easy tomorrow morning. I set the shutdown on my auto start for 15 minutes...I’ll use 14:00 at least before I walk out the front door.

I finally had some time tonight for some randos...(random photos)

When your daughter still believes in Unicorns and wife thinks they’re awesome, these end up in the shopping cart from Costco. They actually tasted pretty good...brought back memories of my childhood....

I’ll be smoking brisket this Saturday for 70+ kids...stocked up and ready to burn....

And now for some of my favorite memes...this best described my better half...

And that schmuck that sung yesterday at the half time show reminded me of this gem...
