This is not a snot-bubble blowin', whine-N-cheesefest. Stinky has gone to that carwash in the sky, giving his 365,000-mile motor a respite. The engine was still running when I turned the key off for the last time, but the chassis is done.
I will have far more details later, but I can say no one was harmed in the event - save a few Aspens. I'll apologize in advance to the tree huggers.

Bummer man! Sorry to hear...
I look at used cars often across the US, they're usually the cleanest up in OR and WA. AZ vehicles are rust-free but the sun down there bakes them up pretty good. I lived in Tucson for about 6 years. It's not uncommon to find a 80k mile truck that has never, once, since new, been put into 4x4. I've seen the inside of differentials that had a light coating of surface rust on the gears because they literally had never been turned. Frankly, I'd start up in the NW!
You'll know what to look for this time, I know if I bought another 7.3, I'd make some very different choices!
