OEM bumper, where to buy?
My buddies SxS rolled off his trailer while i was parked behind him some 30' away and it smacked my front bumper.
Any science to finding an OEM bumper? Who has the best prices or are the pretty much the same? Order from local dealer or online? I'd imagine shipping a bumper to me would be added cost.
Don't want some cheap chinese knockoff and such
Thank ya

You can search salvage yards using Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market. That's what I have been doing, just haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. There are numerous F-250 bumpers out there so you will have to spend some time researching.

why not ? It’s not like the Ford one is any good , just look at yours needed to be replaced from a sxs rolling into it. Pretty flimsy. A Chicom bumper shell is just that, a shell. The understructure provides what little strength there is to the them as they are just crumple zones.

An 1800 lb machine rolling at 15 mph hitting my bumper with part of the sxs's tubular roll cage. Put a nice big crease smack dab in the middle of it.
He's buying it.
I know everything is made in China anymore, but i'd like to take my chances wth an American made, factory OEM bumper to replace just that.
What you got against America?.....pirate4x4_commie ?

Here is a link to a steel bumper I bought on amazon a few months back. It was for my 2001 excursion. It came un-damaged and fits great, seems to be quality constructed as far as these bumpers go and is as heavy as the oem.
