Coolant on valley pan

I have a 88 f250 with a 7.3 idi. I have a coolant leak and all hoses appear good and recently replaced. The only place I see coolant is on the valley pan. Any help is appreciated

Coolant leak around the number 7 glow plug.

Good morning and Merry Christmas to all.
i have a 88 F-250. 7.3 idi. I have noticed a coolant leak around the number 7 glow plug. I soaked up the coolant and pressurized the Coolant system and coolant imeadily came from around the glow plug. This is the only leak I discovered.
Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Is it cranking and running fine? White steam out the tailpipe? Bubbles in the overflow tank while running? Pull that glow plug and see what's really going on. That would sound like a head gasket or block worm, but if you're pressurizing the cooling system to where it's pushing out of the GP, that (in theory) would be putting a lot of coolant into the cylinder, unless it somehow cracked between a cooling passage and the GP threads.

Coolant leak around number 7 glow plug

Thanks
yes white steam from the tail pipe and loosing fluid when running. Otherwise runs fune. Only has around 150000. So in other words it's not going to be able a easy fix like I was hoping.

Coolant leak around glow plug

Had the oil cooler gaskets replaced a week ago the mechanic noticed a piece of metal inside the block when he took the rear header off. He said that concern him but the truck ran well and he didn't notice any leaks or anything that seemed strange at the time.
Next question is if I have to pull the motor should I resleeve all of the cylinders

Two things:
1. You are *sure* that the coolant is coming from the glow plug(i.e. remove glow plug, pressurize coolant, it comes out GP hole). It's not coming from somewhere else(there are coolant passages that stop at the intake manifold), right?

2. More than likely, you will just pull the heads, clean off the old gasket crud, reassemble with new gasket and be fine. These gaskets don't last forever.
Obviously, when you look inside there, you might see other actual problems, but just having coolant leaking through the gasket doesn't mean a motor rebuild.
