A lot of progress made. Motor mounts fabricated and welded in. Front frame painted, and all suspension components bolted in. Hit some snags with the universal clutch and brake pedal setup. Going to take some serious modifications to make them work.

55 I am doing same thing. I just got the motor out yesterday and am taking to the engine builder for some minor stuff. I have ordered the IFS now just to clean up the garage floor where I made a mess then start popping the rivets off so I can remove all the original suspension. I also have new front cab mounts as I think the ones in now are stock since they are flat as can be. I also have a dustless blaster coming over to clean the firewall and inner fenders so I can paint. The inside of engine compartment is green I think the p o had some green paint left over from some tractor thing. I am having a pro weld mine in as I weld just like you showed in a previous photo. Good Luck and keep the photos coming. Once I get mine going I am going to post all the picks. Did you get a sway bar with you kit ?

Nice work, I am sure you will love the IFS over the beam axle.

No I didn't get the sway bar setup with the kit I ordered. I figure if it is needed I can add it later.

Got the motivated to see it back on its wheels. Once the springs settle and all parts are back on ride height will be perfect.

Clutch/brake pedals and master cylinders installed. Customized factory steering column installed so I finally have steering again. Also installed the front Brake lines and hoses. So I'm one step closer to having brakes again.
