My last picture of Ford trucks in TV Shows and movies. A 1948 panel truck in The Twilight Zone, 1959 to 64

Please add to this thread if you have any other movie/TV pics?

It's a beauty Abe! The mirrors look to be correct. The running boards, however, appear to be black like the bumpers. I'm thinking they should be the same color as the body, but I may be mistaken in that.

We got Disney+ recently. I'm watching The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes. I remembered Kurt Russell was in it so I decided to watch it again after many many years.
Side note: His first credit was in 1962. He has put something out almost every year for the last 58 years.
Here is the chase scene where you see a bit of the truck. 56 I think F250. One scene shows the emblem (no paint on it) but it is blurry.
He is being chased by the bad guys in Kurt's (whatever role he is playing) car. I speed buggy type of car.

Here is a picture I found. Was it still Meadow Green in 56?

Nice find, Joe! That's hilarious. Been a long time since I've seen that movie. The truck, being a one ton dually, would be an F350. Handles like a Porsche @2:56 in the movie clip.

A Steven Spielberg classic, before he was famous. What a great movie. The truck has a hunk of railroad rail for a bumper @ :51. That would make for a pretty tough push bar.

Joe, thanks for reviving this thread. I don't think I ever watched this Disney movie but that is a 56 F350 stakebed. And it should be able to outrun dune buggy. Thanks for be Sharing.

The truck on the left is a Dodge of about 56 vintage. The truck looking at us is an International. Not sure what the green one in the background is, but the tall cab looks kind of Internationally, too.

I've been watching Eureka on Amazon Prime. During Season 1 Episode 8, there was a fire. Well here is the fire truck that showed up.

IMDB says it is a 1949 Mercury 2-ton. One of the cast members blocks the trim most of the time. I finally did see part of the Mercury badging.
Very nice looking truck. If you want to see a little more it is at the 29 minute mark of the episode.

It must be used in another episode. Another reason to keep watching.
It's too bad these streaming services prevent you from taking screenshots of the shows.

So, I was watching a 50's movie "The Magnetic Monster". Great movie if you like that sort of thing.
There are some great cars in the show, but this Chevy panel really stood out. Check out the portholes.

Here's Barbara Eden as a hostage going for a ride with killer robbers in a 55 Ford panel truck, on "Highway Patrol" from 1957.
