10-32 coupling nut modification
Because the mounting studs on the dash only came flush with the back of the new gauge mounting tabs this was my fix. I purchased three 10-32 coupling nuts and three washers. I machined down half of the nut to 17/64" diameter. (does not have to be exact) Installed a washer and installed. The machined down part will slip inside the mounting tab when installing. The hex end is long enough that when using a nut driver it stayed in place when installing. I contacted Dakota Digital and sent pictures off the problem like they ask, but I have not heard back. This was a simple fix.
