The ready lift 3.5" SST kit w/ track bar bracket that I see on there website is only $800, so I'm not sure where your numbers are coming from. There are no shocks with it, but with Bilsteins, you would only be at roughly 1100 bucks for the hole shabang. The BDS kit you mention is super expensive because it comes with coils instead of spacers. Any kit with full coils will cost some coin. If I were going to go to full coils in the front and get rid of my spacers, I wouldn't even look an any other brand other than Carli, and I would purchase their progressive coils. If your going to spend the money for a set of coils, they may as well be the best.

I don't know what size tire you plan on running, but I can run 37s with my current lift. Just an FYI.
Where did you get the RC 2.5" spacers? I only see 2" on their website. I have a 2011 F350.

I'm not sure why I put the spacer's were from rough country in that post. You are right though, RC spacers only go up to 2". I have these in 2.5". (2005-19 Ford F-250/350 BMC Spacer) There are much cheaper versions of the bottom mount spacers, but I liked the fact that these mold to shape of the axle mount and aren't just circular. The cheaper ones won't go anywhere even though they aren't molded to the shape of the axle, because they are bolted on, but these just gave me peace of mind.

Ok thanks. I guess the 2.5" is the best for me to go with since I have a F350. I just want it level and I am throwing 35's on.

I would make sure your F350 has the 4" tall rear blocks. I'm almost certain that all the F350s had the 4" blocks from 11-16, but I would double check. If for some reason you have 2" rear blocks, the 2.5" in the front will give the squatting dog look. Trust me, I know. I put just the front leveling kit on first thinking it would be good to go, then had to turn around and lift the back as well.

Does anyone know where I can find out what the Spring rate is on our stock springs?

I’m actually trying to determine what the difference between the stock and after market spring rates are.

I have no idea what the springs rates are. There were different packages that had different springs. For example: My truck has the heaviest duty rear springs (I think it was called a camper package). The front coil springs were all the same I believe. Only the rear leafs had different rates.

Yeah that info seems to be a mystery. I searched several old threads on here that posed the same question and they weren’t answered either. Also no luck on internet searches either. I have been noticing lately in parking lots if I park next to another 250 that mine is a few inches lower. After checking the other rig making sure they don’t have any suspension mods I am beginning to wonder if over time these springs lose their strength and sag a little. I will post some pics of mine up tomorrow with some measurements.

I started thinking about spring ratings after yesterday when I rode in a different 250 with a BDS setup and another ReadyLift setup back to back. The BDS with new springs seemed a little stiffer than the ReadyLift with the stock springs.

There are different front coil spring packages. I don't remember the rates offhand, but I believe they range from 4500 to 6000 lbs. A truck with the snow plow prep package will sit 1-2 inches higher than a lower rate truck. Of course, the lower rates will ride better. I'm sure someone else will chime in with the exact numbers offered.

Edit, a quick google search found this https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...cfe3f99d6.jpeg

So yes, unloaded heights can be all over the place.

Now that link you posted is for 2017 models. Would they be the same for earlier models? Especially after the redesign?

I’m in Florida so I wouldn’t think that the trucks I am comparing mine to would have a snow plow package but I could be wrong.

Another question can someone tell me why these 37” tires are so cheap? More than $150 cheaper than other 37” AT’s

Pretty sure the same coil spring rates have been offered since 05.

The link just goes to discount tires home page for me, so not sure what tires you are looking at. My first question would be, are they E rated?

The link is to Falken Wild Peak A/T3W. It’s a 37x12.5x20 and it’s only $303 per tire. All the other AT 37” tires are $400 and up so I was wondering why this one is so much more less. A set of these would save over $500 compared to others.

And yes they are E2 rated.

I have a question for Ron 94150.

Browsing through the the forum I came across a thread that you started posing the question ReadyLift 3.5” vs Zone 4” lift. It’s obvious you decided on the ReadyLift so what was your determining factor for your decision?
