I agree, I think my 12.50's look narrow. I will say that with all the driving you do, the narrow tires are obviously going to drive better. You could do like I did, and add some 2.5* caster bushings. These trucks have low caster numbers from the factory. Adding the bushings has no effect on tread-wear,and I noticed absolutely no ill effects in turning. But it made a huge difference in the wide tires tracking on uneven surfaces. It's a cheap add on that makes a big difference. I put them on in my garage in less than an hour.

Still undecided with tire size
Would like the wider look of the 12.5 but to get a taller tire with the 285/75 seems more appealing in my mind than wider tires.
