370 Dilemma?

Ok Blue Brothers, got a question for ya: Got a 370 in my 79 F-700 dump truck that’s hurt. I do have three spares, all light truck engines. A FÉ 360, a 400 and a 460. Would any of these work in place of the 370. Any ideas from my Brothers in Blue? Thanks Mucho! F.E G.

Only one that's close is the 460, and it is not a direct bolt in. I would suggest you horse trade for a good 370, or if you like an adventure, a truck 429.

Bypass getting another 370 and go straight for a good 429, every 370 I drove was a slug.

Think your right! Will look for a 429! Thanks. “G”.
