anyone tried this new replacement radiator ?

I located a possible replacement for my missing radiator. I tried Rockauto, who didnt have it, but radiator express did
Has anyone installed one of Radiator expresse's in a 57-60 F100 ? or up.
Were there any fit or other issues?
I guess theyre nice shiny brushed aluminum. It will look like putting bright lipstick on a fugley woman. Not sure I want that.
I notice too, it states the radiator has a GM hose set up...whats that?
Can anyone suggest other sites they have purchased a new radiator for their PUs ?
I'll search around on line and here in town too.

Okay so there is a ton of radiators out there that are made for your truck with GM connections. This only works with SB swaps. Look at Champion radiators on Ebay, you can spray the aluminum radiators matte black ( On aluminum I have used VHT vinyl dye) it binds and has been a great little secret for years. Also works on cast iron and doesn't flake or hide casting like paint does.

Ebay. I found a 3 core radiator listed for 61-64 F250 truck with a Y block. $160 with free shipping. It will fit a 60 I believe. 53-56 Ford truck radiator for $139. rice came down. Last time I looked them up they were listed at $211

I would be weary about buying a rad listed for a different year vehicle.

Nice catch. If you look below at other offerings they have including 3 and 4 row radiators for those year trucks. $216 for a 3 row and $266 for the 4 row radiator. I'll have to look back at the ad I found for the 61-64 trucks and see the difference in dimensions because they sell those style radiators for a cheaper price.

prices are fine, but these have been 2 ad 3 core. I mentioned in my post i wanted a radiator equal to whatever was oem in it. Does anyone know for sure what size my pickup most likely came with? again, its a 6 cyl 3sp.

Champion Radiators are plenty good... I’m an authorized dealer and sell them on our site and ebay. There are ones made for our trucks with either a swap or normal ford engine... I used the CC5760CH on my 57 since I swapped in a 289 (also works with I-6 and chevy 350) with the fan kit relay kit.

if the lower hose in on the driver side, you’ll want this one.

Thanks for jumpin in there to straighten the conversation out . I dont want to have the slightest error and find it doent fit or is sub par for my present or future needs. Ill go do some measurements and compare with the the 3 or even the 4 core.

I have a Champion in my 64 with electric fans for my 466cu in engine. I needed a bit more room than the factory super camper special copper/brass rad could offer me, I launched it into the radiator when doing some spirited driving and it costs over $500 to re-core it here, so it was an expensive lesson. Aluminum unit for 750HP has treated me well and I run a 2000 Ford Contour Electric Fan set up with it.

I will be buying a Champion for my 57 as well when the time comes.
