Just saying hello - been awhile!

Just thought I would say hello to you all. I've been MIA for some time now but I'm venturing back. The EX has finally topped 100K and is running well. Brake problems still haunt me each year and I will be digging into them again this winter. Just wanted to say hello.

Hey Christina, nice to hear from you again and good to see you still have the EX!
What sort of brake issues are you having, sticky slide pins?

No soft pedal intermittent when stopping gradually - just before it comes to a full stop the pedal gives and feel one pop in the peddle, like you would get with an ABS shutter but just once. Odd it only happens every so often though.

Welcome Home,

my guess on the brake symptom is you need to have your ABS bleed, it requires software to open the ABS valve, I will look and see if Forscan has this feature. Do you use Forscan ?

also when you get some time I was hoping you could measure your suspension from hub to fender and update your post in the suspension thread, I’d like to know if and how much your pro comps have sagged. Thanks , Camo

Welcome back, Christina!

Like has been said, new lines if still old ones and bleed the whole system (including ABS module) to completely replace fluid.

Im glad you are back! I want to say thank you for all of your, "for dummies," posts. I found this forum searching for rust repair for my excursion and your KBS coatings post was one of the first I encountered and used as motivation to tackle that horrible job. I have since used a number of your easy to follow, how- to guides.

Thanks again!!

if its not to much trouble can we get a pic from the side ? I am guessing you are running a 33” tire ?
Thanks, ( I am working on setting up a FTE members Ex and considering your setup, waiting on procomp to get springs rates with the leafs removed )
