God knows if truck is totalled I'll have to buy a Chevy.
a buddy of mine was parked right beside me .
driving a nice 07 Dodge Cummins.
I told him a crook wouldn't even steal a Dodge.
About 6 guys in my shop at work drive them.
I've told them time and again.
No man over 40 with any self respect would drive a Dodge.
They may be ok . I don't know. I do know there not a 7.3l

Good luck with the whole process. Hopefully it’s not too bad.

What he said. This saved my azz about 10 years ago on a wrecked 7.3. Anxious to hear how it turns out. Hoping for the best.

Defiantly do not take their first settlement offer, unless you like it! I had earthquake insurance when the Loma Prieta quake hit in '89. Knocked my house pretty bad. They tried to buy me off for $5K but I never cashed the check. About six months later they came by with a new "adjuster"
from the Las Vegas area that looked like his sun glasses were mirrored on both sides. He wrote up over $90K as long as I let "his people"do the work.

You could buy a cheap, used salt free truck and then justify the money for an engine and transmission rebuild, then slowly work on the cosmetics. Here in Phoenix, high miles but good cosmetic condition 7.3 super duties are going for anywhere from $6500-$10,000

I can hear the bagpipes warming up for amazing Grace.
the funeral dirge has been sang.
My old felt Stetson friend is gone
Talked to wrecker service in Louisiana.
they said my hat wasn't inside truck.
Lady said there's no front bumper or winch.
Toolbox is gone.
Nothing of mine left inside cab.
Just trash and beer cans.
She said my truck was good at slinging huge clods mud .
Said mud was in and on everything . And final resting spot couldn't have been only ditch they hit.
No visible body damage. But idk under mud.
Not sure what all is missing or hurt yet.
It's on way here to Texas.
I'll go over to repair shop in the morning to look at it.

I sincerely hope the truck is in a recoverable condition. As we all know, finding a replacement is a tough situation.

You have to drive directly in front of guard station to come in or out. Like with in 60 feet .
There's a camera on drive way. It will see it leaving out
Lady that was in my parking spot . Said she got there at 6:45
And my truck pulled out so she could take my spot.
I got out of truck at 6:05 to walk in to work.
It's most likely in Houston in pieces.
There's been a rash of stolen vehicles here lately.
probably 50 that I've heard of in last 4 months.
What a beautiful truck! So very sorry for the loss.

I suspect he is either too upset to post what he found or too happy and out celebrating...
