Climate change is making the gulf coast a riskier and riskier proposition. We've quit going there for our April trip because we were constantly bombarded with major thunderstorms, wind, tornadoes, etc. Always moving to avoid the severe weather. Tucson is a lot more predictable and pleasant.

Not great right now 28 and snowing I40 north, one of the very few snow days down here. I had the rain problems most of the summer in the mid west. Coudn't wait to get back to the left side of the Mississippi.
