Radio signal issues

Anyone else out here experiencing issues with radio signals? Am is pretty much not even available and most to all fm channels I mean like 1000 watt stations are rarely coming in in city and when they do it’s static city. Any suggestions on fix? 2018 f150stx

Are you still using the stock antenna or did you swap it out for a shorter one.
Also, a "1000" watt radio station is not very strong station.

Never heard of a problem here on the forum with the stock antenna. Some of the shorter aftermarket antennas are horrible.

It’s just the regular stock antenna.. haha.. yeah 1000 watts aren’t very strong.. I meant like 100k watt stations.. maybe I’ll try to swap the antenna at ford and see.. it sucks cruising down the road listening to a jam on the country station and it just gets staticky.. if u guys have any other ideas besides the stock antenna I’ll give it a shot after swapping it. I listen to so much Bluetooth music I rarely listen to radio.. but I probably listen to blue tooth radio on the iPhone more bc the radio signals are bad..

Could be the radio or the antenna connection itself. A PITA to pull the radio to check the antenna connection, but that's probably where I'd look.

BTW - The radio on ours works just fine.

OP, also be sure to confirm the antenna is tightly seated in its base.

You shouldn't even need an antenna for a strong FM signal. I'd have the FM receiver checked. You may have a bad radio.

It's your truck. The radio "ACM" that ford uses in base model trucks with no Sirius are the cheapest things made. I have had the issue on both of my 2018 STX trucks. Simple solution was to upgrade to a lariat HD ACM and enable the HD radio function with forscan.

The satellite radio is a terrible option, so many frequencies are missing you are not getting the full spectrum. Compare the same songs side by side.
