SEATS? 2003 F150 Fit in Slicks??

Anyone have an early 2000's F150 bench seat in their slick? Now, of course I know its not a direct bolt in...but does the actual bench seat fit well in the cab of a slick? Any pics? My original 64 bench is done in. Springs broken, etc. etc. Thanks in advance if you can share pics or recommend what you put in yours (non-stock) so I can start the scrap yard challenge.

I have a 40/20/40 seat from a 2002 F150 mounted in my '66. Not sure if this is a type of seat you have in mind. I tried to upload pictures of it here but I think it was unsuccessful. Something has changed in the "Manage Attachments" department since I last did it. If you look up "SuperSabre" in the archives I covered this subject, with pictures, more than once before. The seat barely fits, but it does. There are many good things about it (integrated inertia reel locking 3 point seatbelts, high seatbacks with headrests to prevent your head going through the back window in the event of a crash, fold down console, drink holders, lumbar support), but some negatives as well (sits up too high even when mounted as low as possible causing leg interferene with steering wheel, can't use recliner much when all the way back, have to modify seat mounts to install). I needed power steering and a smaller diameter steering wheel to make it viable, but in the end I like it.

I just clicked on "Search" and had no trouble finding my posts from 03/21/2014 "Bucket Seats in a '65 F100" and 05/05/2014 Seats With Integrated Seat Belts" which discusses the installation of the 2002 F150 40/20/40 seats and what to watch out for when searching for them at the junk yard.

I attempted to put the same "buckets" in from an '07 but no matter what they are tight to the stock steering wheel. They are tall and deep. I could have gotten them in, but no larger than a normal man would be able to drive. A shorter tilt column and smaller diameter steering wheel might help, but you can't push the firewall forward. Plus the gas tank must go which is not a huge problem. In the end I stuck with the bench I had from a '77 which needs to be re-upholstered, it is a direct bolt-in..

I installed 2011-14 Buckets in my '66 F250 and the much much larger late model dash. It all fit fine.
I just shortened the risers by a bunch.
That was with the cab sectioned down over chassis.
Stock would have been that much more room.
I also maintained them being power.
Quite comfy on long trips.

Sa.....weeeeet interior!!
So, I put (placed not bolted in) my early 00's 40-20-40 seat in the 64 cab on Friday (yes I picked it up since price was good and thought fit will be OK and my 64 seat is absolute toast). So far so good except what I notice is that I am sitting off to the left of the steering wheel, so it looks like some mods on the seat frame (came with the 40/20/40) are in order to squeeze the 40 seats in closer to the 20 seat if - I can do it. Will keep y'all posted because I think this is a good fit for the slicks and bonus I have electric lumbar on both driver and pass seats. (pics coming hang tight).
