Great Motorcraft DG-509 COP's

Thread title is a typo---should read Motorcraft part number DG-508.

Found these on Amazon, was highly skeptical they really were genuine Motocraft, seller assured me they were indeed:
Motorcraft DG-508 Deal Motorcraft DG-508 Deal

Here's some photos of the stuff that arrived:

They're all in one sealed package

I'm sure this same seller would have a similar deal for V10's. Typically I pay just over $50 each from my dealership using my discount---these come out at $25.57 each. For that money there's just no need to use anything other than genuine Motorcraft.

Hope this is useful to someone.

I had found some deals a while back when I was looking, but all of them were for V8s (as in, kits of 8 not 10) and singles were significantly more per unit. I bought 8, only needed 5 luckily.

Did you have 5 coils go bad at the same time?
I've had one coil crack where the connector meets the casing and another that had the mounting tab break off.
Replaced the boots couple of times, but the OEM coils are going strong on both Tritons.
Denso 673-6000 coils are a good alternative when they run out.

I've heard nothing but good thngs about the Denso COP's---if I can't find Motorcraft they would be my no hesitation alternative.

They are EXACTLY the same COPs, Denso is the actual manufacturer for the OEM Motorcraft units and if you peel the Denso sticker off the top the MC numbers are there under it. But your find above is the best price I've ever seen for the MC branded ones.
I bought 2 Denso COPs to have on hand if and when needed, but so far still on all 10 original ones at 120K miles.

Hard to say, I bought the truck used, and it wasn't running great. Chased misfires for a while, had some bad plugs, bad COPs and a bad cam. Replaced all plus rockers and lifters. Runs great now.

Good to know---I'm sure I've read that before but it never registers until later, after I've already bought the MC's.

Funny thing about COP's---my 2000 E250 w/5.4 is still running on 6 of its originals but my '03 has had 4 go bad over the 6 years I've owned it. Having aleady BTDT with the aftermarket brand I'll stick with MC or Denso now, especially at these very fair prices.

The Motorcraft COPs are great - 9 OEMs with 130K on the Excur and 7 OEMs with 170K on the Exped.
The other 2 had broken cases, the coils were fine.
