I would love to delete but still has Ford Premium Care Warranty in it for another 3 years. Kinda scared to own it without a warranty since it has had the cab off twice already. I agree emissions kills these motors and it needs deleted

Ford couldn’t find anything so they gave me a data recorder. They told me to push the button when symptoms are present and it will record 30 seconds prior and 20 seconds after for a total of 50 seconds. Don’t have a warm fuzzy towing trailer to the dunes this week. Fingers crossed I make it there and back.

Well I made it back from the dunes without truck acting up. Babied it the whole way there and back. Dropped off the data recorder and mechanic said the Data recorder picked up a code P0069, MAP - BARO CORRELATION CODE. Ford said it could be either a sensor that has an intermittent open circuit, a sensor that is Biased, or problem with wiring going to sensor. Truck has has motor removed in the past when bed plate seal was replaced. I will be taking truck back in next week to have them look at it.

Will post more when I know more.

Just wanted to provide an update. Below are tech notes from Ford. Sorry all CAPS, I cut and pasted.

MAP SENSOR IS 2 PSI HIGHER THAN BARO, OUT OF SPEC, DIRECTED TO CHANG ETO PINPOINT TEST E, E1- NO OTHER CODES ARE PRESENT, RESULTS DIRECT TO WIGGLE TEST THE MAP SENSOR AND CONNECTOR END. FOUND ERRATIC SENSOR OUTPUT WHILE THE SENSOR WAS BEING TAPPED ON. INDICATES A FAILED MAP SENSOR AND WIRING CONNECTOR END. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE MAP SENSOR AND CLEANED THE MAP SENSOR OPENING IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

Guess we we will see if this solves my problems.
