thanks for the pics. My 450 is really close to that with 4.30s and the 225's...maybe 100 to 200 rpm difference at 70. I've heard it was close. I bet it would be equal if I went to 245's. Honestly, I don't want to change a thing since it tows so well. Congrats on the new truck.

I am one that is not going to tell people what they should drive.
I own very large and HEAVY slide in camper, an 2018 Eagle Cap 1200.
I belong to a few different camper sites and the debate over SRW and DRW comes up often.
I have had campers on both, and the DRW trucks allows you to be more relaxed. The SRW truck felt like I was on the edge most of the time. When a semi passed me I would be sucked in the blown out, so constant input to keep it going stright.
I had to go to 19.5 tires and wheels on the SRW because i was so far over the tire weight raiting.
sold it and bought a 2011 F450

The 2011 F450 is really just a f350 with the wide front axle. Had the DANA 80 rear axle and 17" tires.
It did a great job, bit I was really close to the max capacity of the rear tires.
We decided to buy a new truck before I retire. A 2018 f450 platinum.
19.5 tires give me 15,000lbs of rear tire capacity.
the brakes are much larger than the f350 also.
All the f250 and f350s have 14.39" rotors, front and rear
the f450 has 15.4" front and 15.75" rears.
the pads are about 50% larger also.
so a lot more tire and brake on the f450, but the frame and the springs are the same as the f350drw.

Congrats on the big bertha!
I came from a 2016 F150 cc to my 18 dualy 3fiddy with 4.10s too. My 350 actually rides smoother than the 150 unloaded. I was shocked. It does have a very small vibration at 80 and above, but I attribute that to the unloaded suspension. Its not that bad.
As for the pilot comment...I haven't flown a plane that was small enough to see the wings from the cockpit in many many years! Lol but I do find myself watching the curbs on every turn in the mirrors (in the truck of course)!

Is a locking rear diff an option on these duallies? Has anyone installed locking diffs on their 2017 and up dually?

I had a F250 originally when I got the 5er. Had to put airbags on and get beefier tires to level it and hold the weight better. Upgraded to the F350 and just switched over the hitch and was done.
I have 4:10's which makes hilly country a little easier and as far as MPG goes if I wanted economy I would have kept the Honda.
