Good Morning Everybody!

It's been slow going on the C cab with a lame drill. Someone is supposed to be dropping off one to borrow here in a little bit so I can finish up the body mounts. Then it's on to the passenger side running board and front fender. The list is getting really small on stuff to build. After I'm done with this stuff, I have a driveshaft to make, a rear door to finish and seat frame to build. Then the whole car is BUILT! I can blow it apart and start on the bodywork and paint. ....whew!

If it burns av gas i'll try it. HH-43F Huskie and the K Max are similar in design and the K-Max is used in a lot of logging.

I got to go for a ride in one, on the first base I was assigned to. It had the twin rotors up top, mounted at angles to each other. I thought they were SO COOL!!!

Afternoon All!

Chip. No, I cancelled my wrist operation. Because we just switched insurances, none of the fees, deductibles or copays were met yet. They wanted $1,700 from me before they let me in the door. I'm having a hard enough time paying my electric bill, so that is just gonna have to wait. It gives me more time to finish the C cab anyway.

Afternoon all. I've been pretty busy this weekend, but managed to get a couple of hours in the garage. Boy, welding new metal to old metal is a real pain but I'm almost done with welding the front half up. Just a few pinholes left to take care of. Gotta run, I promised the wife to help clean upstairs today too.

Good evening all. Getting ready to grill after a weekend of busy time cleaning, selling pallet rack and buying another vehicle. Bought an 01 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 to replace the Quest minivan if I like how it drives, it is definitely not me and at least the Jeep is 4 wheel drive.

Evening Chip. The Grand Cherokee is really pretty good in the snow and you certainly got the more reliable drivetrain available. You could get a 5.2L in them, but the V8 was pretty hard on the transmission. The only issue that I'm aware of with them is just making sure the front end components stay tight. If you avoid store brand components, you should be fine.
