I use hosts blockfiles on PCs (any OS) and Android. Example: https://www.techrepublic.com/article...ck-ad-servers/
Adding the enemy sites to your hosts file will block them, and FTE should have a large block file itself. When in doubt, block. Most of the world doesn't need to know FTE exists so range banning anything outside the US/EU/Australia etc isn't a bad idea. It won't cost ad revenue because places without Ford trucks have no need for FTE. Blocking is good. The internet is a bad place and enemy countries are spam havens.
Firefox and Chrome have a variety of adblock/script blocking extensions. They exist for Safari but I don't do Apple's walled garden. I never count on tools included with a browser because they won't be updated as quickly as extensions.
I keep one browser (there's no reason not to have several browsers) naked for comparison in case a site doesn't work well with Adblock/NoScript/Privacy Badger/uBlock origin etc. Spend an evening learning how to block popups and everything else you don't care for.
