So I drove it for a while yesterday, and I just made the 1 hour trip to work with the truck and she is running great. Still has the contribution code, but I havent run the fuel system cleaner through it as suggested yet. Planning on doing that tonight.

I will say that the truck feels like it has more power, runs smoother, is quieter, and has better throttle response. May be my imagination, or it may be that the rockers were really tired after 190000 miles!

It’s supposed to run better

new rocker tips vs old worn will open intake and exhuast 3/16th more.

aside from the geometry changes due to bent push rods.

Back at ya. I have the entire kit sitting next to the truck to do the brakes. However, that was my today project before paypal/ebay let someone in and stole every dime out of my accounts.

They say they'll rectify it but 3-5 business days. MF'rs

Advice, don't link your card to your bank account rather it be credit or debit. Get a 500 dollar limit on a card and use just that.

They soaked me for thousands within an hour last night.

We'll see how this pans out. I have 124 bucks in my wallet and I was retirement comfortable.

Denny (my service msg hasn't popped up since the new batts, but I'm doing the brakes anyway) I'll let you know what I find.

So an update to the madness. I have put about 500 miles on the truck since the repair, and it is still running awesome...most of the time... When I start the truck, 90% of the time it runs rough and smokes. when I drive it for about 5 to 10 minutes, no more smoke and no more running rough. This usually happens when I start it up, not after it has been running for a while. Is this because I didnt reset the fuel trims? Do I need to take it to a dealer to have the learned values cleared? She runs great, and even hit 40 lbs of boost going up a hill this morning which i haven't seen since I bought it. Its irritating because I know it isn't supposed to do this, and I can't let it run in the morning to warm up. I have to get in and drive right away or itll run rough and smoke longer.
