FUEL QUESTION
so the check valve/ part number E3TZ-9N176–B/ fuel line T
the one on my 85 460 w/ electronic fuel pump is bad. does not hold fuel. it will drain back to the tank immediately. so i bought a new one. the 1st new one i bought i hooked up and the fuel pump would not push fuel past the new part i could not blow air through it. i returned it. i recently bought another one. in hopes of it working. i just pulled it out and i couldnt blow air through it. my brother could a little. (this is on lung power if thats not clear) (also i can blow through the inlet to the return freely. i cant blow through inlet to outlet freely.) so im assuming it spring powered? im wondering if im doing something wrong? what have you other guys done that have this part done to you work around this. now im assuming since both parts have “not worked” thats its user error. how do i work around this? how do i fix my issue.ive ALREADY put a NEW PUMP in it.
