Worked on guage placement this week, unfortunately I had to mount them ''roadster'' style center of dash, there was just not enough room in the reg location, also filled all the other holes, just have to add a lense and mounting hardware ,a little bodywork

and I'm done!

I think you have posted the biggest shop I have seen on here in 10 years.
And yes, you are making big progress. To be able to accomplish so much in these particular weeks of the year, I'm impressed. Tom

Ct70 is starting off with a positive reputation.
How does the track width seem to be ? Does the newer Dakota frame have the splice in it like the older ones or s10 so you can easily alter the wheelbase ?

05 and up dakota's are wider than 04 and down but this will work, the frame itself is way better than the s10, fully rectangular, way heavier built, you got rack and pinion, front is wide enough that you dont need spacers like the s10, a rear end that will handle V8 power, there is a spot on the frame that looks like it's been joined but I have no idea, if not,the center section is straight so it can be cut and spliced anywhere, now I've done both, the ''bang for the buck'' is the dakota frame.
