I guess Ford decided 10 years was enough time to repurpose a color (yellow) but with a different formula.

It won't matter. You'll still have to refill at the standard radiator replacement interval.

Hogwash. The 6.7's gaskets are made to prevent the 2-EHA in the coolant from effecting them.
There is no good reason to run green in the 6.7, (or in almost anything else).
That being said, the Ford orange is a Dex-Cool clone, and when I change mine in the spring, a real diesel coolant will be going in, likely Shell Rotella Ultra.
Color has little to do with coolant identification anymore. Dex-Cool is red, orange, or yellow depending on manufacturer and application, and GM had multiple problems with gasket incompatibility. Dex will sludge up if air is allowed to enter the system through gasket leaks or vented systems.
Ford Gold is G05 formula, has silicates, and has been known to be a problem in the 6.0. It was for convenience on the assembly line, a couple F150's then a Powerstroke, a few more gas burners, all the same fill station on the line.

First of all let me thank everyone for their input and advice on this question . Now with that being said who all has left Ford coolant and put an aftermarket one in I think that is what I'll be doing but I want people's advice on this as well thank you again I looked up Shell Rotella Ultra but there seems to be abbreviations next to them for different additives I guess not quite sure but thank you for everyone's input on this cheers

Use punctuation.

What do you have against the coolant Ford sells? Or what do you think the aftermarket coolant will provide you that the Ford coolant can't?

One of the most important things to do if you are changing your coolant to a different type is to properly flush your system. Maybe it's comparing apples to oranges but when I flushed my 7.3 to change coolants I used around 40 gallons of distilled water AFTER flushing with hose water. It should take 7 to 8 hours to do a proper flush. Some coolants will not mix so its critical to remove the coolant that's in there before adding a different kind.

All I'm trying to do is figure things out on the coolant and when nobody told me the difference that the green was better I wanted to inquire and find out more.

I believe the ford spec for a 6.7L is WSS-M97B44-D. Use the Motorcraft or any other that meets that spec. The motorcraft Orange is $25 a gallon but Preston Dex-Cool (WSS-M97B44-D) is $14 a gallon at Wally World.

As noted above, the spec being used on current 2019 6.7L vehicles is WSS-M97B57-A2. Different than previous years.
