2008-2010 6.4 4x4 fuel cooler coolant pump

I recently had an issue with my fuel cooler electric pump going out. It makes a whinning noise thats really loud and sounds like a drive belt or bad tensioner or pully. Well i have the solution to that problem many people can not find the right part because they are looking for a fuel pump. They should be looking for a coolant pump since that is the purpose of the function to pump coolant to the fuel cooler. This pump the dealer want 189.00plus $$$, not a chance. I have to ford motorcraft part # PW-479 or pw479. It also on amazon for only 89.00. Its the cheapest I could fine for new mint condition. If you fail to change this part it can later cause issues with the pump making a barking sound or worse excessive engine wear due to hot fuel temps. Let me know If I can help anyone. This is purely informational and worth every penny if u have this issue.

I am not selling them, but you can just google the part # and the info will appear. Look at amazon they have a great deal..

Also just a heads up that if your fuel cooler pump is making noise make sure there isn’t air in the system. If you get an air pocket it will make the same terribly noises. Learned that the hard way.
