1995 Bronco, 302 V8, fast idles at the wrong times. Often it will not fast idle after cold startup and you have to manually fast idle it for a few seconds to keep it running. After a few seconds, no problem. Often at hot starts it revs up to 2000 RPM or more when it doesn't need to. Runs great all the rest of the time. Already changed the IAC. Anybody seen this? Is there some temp sensor that tells it when to fast idle that is bad? Or something else?

 

Check your codes to start with, see what your computer knows.

There are Air & Water Temp Sensors, also the MAP & TPS sensors affect idle.
Did both of your issues start at the same time?

Disconnect you IAC next time it high idles to see if it drops.
