Looking to see if anyone has.....

I'm reversing my CCV mod and I can't find where I put my old intake tube ring that the CCV hose (from the dog house) connects to.

I was gonna order one online but figured I'd ask if anyone had a used one sitting in a box somewhere first.

I put mine back into the intake about 5 years ago. I made the connector out of a black ABS pipe coupler. Drilled a hole in it and glued a PVC elbow into it and connected the hose from the dog house to it. I run my hose through a Moroso air/oil separator also.

Just thought I would throw this out there in case you were interested in a low cost alternative.

Paul

Connector in background with green hose from dog house.

Moroso air/separator between dog house and intake.

Catchcan from air/oil separator. Depending on type of driving will fill up once or twice between 5K OCI.

Love to hear why several of you have decided after time with the CCV mod that you wanted to switch back to original...

Didn't buy into the CCV mod to begin with, although I am on board with a catch can or similar object.

Yup. Tired of swapping it back and forth every 2 years. My health has taken a hit and I can't work on my vehicles for very long anymore so I gotta simplify some things.

I think there is a pretty good chance I may have one that I won't be using with the T4. I'll check in the morning.

I do have one and the bracket if you need it too. Let me know if you want it, just pay shipping (med flat rate box) should do it.

Good on you, BRBF150! If you go to usps.com and shipping you can ship light stuff for less than the 'if it fits, it ships' rates and still use their box. Enter your own box dimensions and wt plus the zip codes involved and you can get a quote. You can print your label out from the site and all.

absolutely okay, it’s just that I don’t buy into the “just dump it out” idea and was wondering if folks were finding actual negative effects or just changed their mind. Cali stupidity I forgot about, always felt lucky on the 70s forum that I didn’t live out there.

Just dumping it out emits some pretty stinky fumes.
