Recent Ford Commercial

Hey boys and girls, I`m not sure if this is an intentional "easter egg" posted by Ford or maybe it just nothing at all but the truck that was being driven in the desert has some "Raptor" body panels and a V8 engine. It`s funny how the video was cut from the commercial when the front of the truck was getting closer to make out the details and at the end of the video, it`s a far off shot so again, one really can`t make out the details.

Any thoughts?

Yes. It`s on YouTube.

Looks like a Raptor to me, but how do you know it's a V8?

You can put the video in slow motion and see its a Raptor.

And I also see or hear nothing to indicate a V8.

I didn`t cook anything up but I did observe some things the you and poster "msgtord" either can`t hear and you both have better vision than everyone else and can 100% say that it was a Raptor.
Getting to the end of the video, the sound of the engine in the truck rolling through the desert and right before the actor started talking and when he was talking while driving the truck, that was clearly a V8 and yes, one can see that the truck does have a Raptor front bumper and hood vents but that doesn`t mean that it is a Raptor.

Please explain to me and anyone else who`s interested how you can as you said "see" if the F150 in this video has a V8 or not.

I don`t know if it`s a V8 in engine in this truck or not but I do know the sound in this video is a V8 and not an TTV6.

It`s not a Ranger. The new Ranger and the Ranger Raptor have different front ends but the dead giveaway are the headlights.

Since its a video/Commercial, they can dub any sound they want. Its about the future, not reality of the present.

Very true hence the reason I said what I said in my original posting.
