2019 F-350 Project 1 Ton Jumping Tow Truck
The day I bought my Raptor in 2013 I took it out to the desert and jumped it. At that time I just had a little featherlight toy hauler and small utility trailers. I thought why would I ever need another truck. It can tow all my toys and is a large toy in and of itself.
A year later I got my first boat and the 1/2 ton wasn't up to pulling around a 8,000 boat and the small utility trailers got bigger so I needed a Diesel. After blowing the head gasket at 35,000 miles on my 2015 RAM 2500 Crew cab and then being told by the truck that I would be going into limp mode four times within 200 miles on my 30,000 mile 2017 RAM 3500 Crew Cab I threw in the towel and pulled the trigger on a 2019 Ford F-350 Limited. I wasn't happy with the colors on the lot at my local dealership and they didn't have any short-bed Limiteds. So I ordered a Stone Gray exterior with Camelback interior from the factory with all the bells and whistles.
6 weeks and three days later my truck arrived. I have put about 50 miles on it in the last day getting to know it a little bit before it goes under the knife. First impressions have been good. I had a car run a red light right in front of me and the brakes worked great in an emergency braking situation and I was able to avoid hitting the texting teenager that ran the red light in front of me.
Today a Carli Suspension Pin Top kit is being installed with 37" BFG KO2's mounted on 17" Method Wheels. Also a Addictive Dessert Designs Lite bumper and Rigid Light Bar are going on the front. I wasn't able to jump my 1 ton farm truck the day I bought it. But I am planning on jumping it once the Pin Top kit is installed and all aligned properly. Later this week all the chrome will be blacked out with vinyl and any badges that don't have holes under them will be removed.

When it jumps hopefully we will get a video. But from my past experience with my Raptor what feels like a large jump inside the cab of the truck to what it looks like on the outside are drastically different. Nowadays we are used to seeing crazy big jumps on Nitro Circus or Baja races.

Leveling kit is installed. Bumper is on and Baja Designs light bar is mounted up. Turns out I forgot to order the Firestone Airbags when I got the kit. So that will go on next week. Along with the ARB compressor kit.
Tomorrow it it goes in for tint, radar detector, debadging, and blacking our all chrome with matte black vinyl.
Spent an hour today with the dealer trying to reprogram the TPMS system. We were using the as built data and changing the lines that Forscan spreadsheet was asking for. However it didn’t work. Maybe the codes need to be different on the 19’s or maybe they only work while using Forscan.

Looks great. I really love the way the 17+ SDs look with a Baja style bumper like that - I think I'll eventually have the stealth fighter w/out winch mount installed on mine - although we have to have front license plates in part of Texas I'm in - not sure how one would mount, zip tie?
How is the ride with the Kings? Do you have any bump steer/steering wheel shudder at speed? Curious if your alignment guy gave you a printout of your final alignment (if so, please share along with feedback about ride quality and characteristics).

Havent jumped it yet. Wasted too much time trying to reprogram the TPMS to make it out to the desert.
