November is here and winter prep is in full swing. Finished stacking wood this past weekend and hopefully get things stored in the barn so I can get the F150 in the garage for the winter and not have to deal with scraping and brushing snow off. I couldn't hardly see it in the driveway Saturday with all the leaves covering it from the wind and rain.

Wow, I am soooo bad at picking up on the new months, oh well. Heading to an arcade auction this weekend so I have been spending all my time getting stuff ready to go and loaded on the trailer.

Are you looking more for picking up new stuff or more trading and/or selling?

I'm always looking for new stuff, the issue is that I don't have enough room for what I have. The selling for this trip mostly consists of stuff I have had in my garage for a while, but I'm at a point where I need to start selling some items out of the basement as well. Wife thinks we should just buy a larger house, where I am contemplating what some climate controlled storage might cost so that I could rotate through some of the stuff without having to sell it.

That doesn't sound like a bad option, and likely cheaper than a bigger house. On the flip side, you hope that a bigger house will appreciate better than the value of the arcade units minus the cost for the storage.

Yeah, climate controlled storage isn't cheap. I'm not looking super hard, but I do check out ads for garage type storage from time to time.

Was in Southington yesterday looking at fifth wheels and out of the blue (well maybe grey) it started snowing to beat the band! First flakes of the season. This morning was the first morning this fall that I have had to remove ice from my dogs outside water bowl.

Bring on the cold!

We got some pretty good snow late evening on Tuesday. Boy was it heavy shoveling. I'm now recovering from working two overnight shifts totalling about 33 of the past 40 hours. On the flipside, we were supposed to have 4 overnight shutdowns, but managed to get it all done in two.

I'm down in Pensacola currently, but heading back up tomorrow. Hopefully the snow from Thursday night in Friday that I heard about has melted away. LOL

I'm fairly confident you'll be coming home to no shoveling.

Its not gone yet. I've still got at least a couple of inches not counting piles I have made from snow blowing.
