Evening all.

I finally had time to get the bell housing, clutch, & flywheel off the 360 and got it up on the engine stand.

RC - When I got the flywheel off the engine, I was surprised to see that an "X" scratched into the casting on the left bank and an "I" scratched into the right bank. Do you know if these mean anything? I know "C" and "A" point towards the 428 block, but the only thing I can find on the "X" is that it might mean the block has a higher nickel content in the block. The "I" is a complete mystery.

It had an SROD 3 speed overdrive so I've got an FE manual bell housing. Since I'm trying to go to a C6, it should be available as soon as I have an automatic in hand.

I do believe it will. Back in the day, transmissions were pretty interchangeable within the model line. RC will know for sure.

I might have to get those bulbs for my Expedition. I was noticing last night that my headlights weren't very bright, and my lenses are nice and clear too. I expected they'd be brighter.

Good Morning Everybody!

It's wet out there. I have some errands to run and some bills to pay.

I had to go to Spfd today, but before I went, I saw a humongous black bullnose with Oregon plates, at the Lebanon walmart. I wonder if it was an FTE member

Well since I can't sleep anymore I might as well get up and check in with ya'll here. To dark and cold to go do outside work at the moment.
I am on the count down now....this sat, "hasta la vista", "bon voyage".

Good Morning Everybody!

I was in thrash mode yesterday to get the truck and hauler ready to go to Indy tomorrow. I still have a service to do on the hauler., then load everything up. I want to try and line up the sheet metal on EQ a little better. The front clip is still a little out of whack from July.

Rich. Safe travels. Check in as often as you can.
