Overfilling Oil

I have a 1990 351w running six qts of 15w50. I accidentally put in an extra qt making seven total. Can I run it like this or would it cause a problem?

Too much oil may cause the oil to foam witch is bad for the bearings, and drag witch is bad for power. And 15/50 is way too thick unless your running in the desert @ high temps.I use 10/30 syn. myself.
