Ok, I sorta forgot what the plan was and how big it is......lol. The meeting room/kitchen addition that was put on the fire hall that I belong too is 60' x 40'. We just put up 3 years ago a 28'x36' pole barn with a poured concrete floor for storage.

Evening Pat...night shift doesn't usually arrive until after 2100 our time...and...they stay on till after 0000 hours. Way too late for this guy...especially on "work" schedule when I roll out of the sack at 0330.

Hi Ken! I'll get to catch them at the beginning of the shift, anyway, I'll be around until 2100-ish.

 

So...you have one late night at work??? I'm usually out of here around 2000...some tv...then a book...and...then bed around 2300. Of course...on nights when I have "work" the next day...I try to be in the rack by 2100...no later than 2200. With the Patriots...and...this year...the World Series...I'm sometimes up much later that I should be.

 

Yep. This will happen every now and then, when it's not Summer. During the Summer, we'll be on two shifts, one from 8-4, then an evening shift, from 4-12. And then switch off every week. I'm good with working an evening shift. Hate mid shifts, though.

 

The 4-12 isn't that bad...gives you a chance to get a reasonable nights sleep and have a pretty productive day before going in the next day.

 

Yep, still have plenty of time to get stuff done in the morning. The wife isn't liking the idea of it, though. She'll just have to get used to it.

 

Maybe she can get a second job so you can retire???

My niece got an new job a number of years ago...her increase in salary was substantial enough for her husband...who is approximately 20 years older than her...to retire. He took advantage and has led a life of leisure for about 4 years now.

 

I do Ken, for some reason they are stuck to me..

 

Man, now there's a good planner!!!LOL I have to go at least 6 more years until I qualify for retirement. I will go before her, though. And that just chaps her *** for some reason!LOL

Yeah...she's done very well for herself. He also is set to inherit a good amount of money when his mother passes...she's 88 and in poor health. He'll get somewhere around $600,000 in property and $$$$.

 

OK kids...playtime is over...gonna watch some of the game before turning in...should be a good game...Panthers at the Steelers.
